2020 It’s going to be epic – What the bleep was that?

What an incredible year it has been. Lots of ups and downs and some challenges to overcome.

As you may know, I have become accustomed to being uncomfortable because growth and expansion don’t come from staying safe and living in fear but from operating out of a ‘can do’ attitude, however, this year was something else!

I had a vision recently that summarised what this year has been for me on a personal and spiritual level.

I was in the ocean and the waves of life were turbulent. The ocean (my soul) was teaching me to surrender and to trust not only myself but to trust that life wants what’s best for me. Even though it’s hard to admit, I do like to maintain control, and this year I was losing my grip and trust me, I tried to hold on until I was totally exhausted both mentally and physically and was delivered into personal experiences of pain and grief where I had to surrender and let go. In doing so came such waves of grief, huge negative emotion that I had to sit with and process, understand and ultimately heal.

This year almost brought me to my knees, and I have a feeling I wasn’t the only one!

We were all collectively catapulted into a year of no control! The collective and personal energy of this created a massive shift into a new frequency of love, harmony, support, and trust that I didn’t see coming.

During an online attunement practice session with my Senior Reiki Master Fiona, I had a massive release of grief, and fear and in its place was an absolute knowing that the attunement to Reiki would work online because I had just experienced its emotion first hand. It was incredibly powerful, loving, and humbling.

After a huge emotional release that I had no ability to stop, I was filled with such a powerful feeling of love, self-acceptance, and a knowing that there was a new path opening up for me now, that I knew would work.

After that experience it was easier for me to trust that you would be attuned to Reiki online, remembering that I had only done in-person attunements for over a decade now and never had any intention to teach Reiki online.

This year – it all changed.

I had to trust that you would be able to be attuned to Reiki online and it was my intention to also teach from love and inspiration offering a fun and engaging workshop that would leave you feeling, not only aligned to this beautiful energy of Reiki, but also powerfully connected to your new Reiki friends.  From what I have been told by my students and masters – my vision and my intention has been realised!

I feel so grateful and excited about what this means not only for Intuitive Reiki International but for the new and amazing people that will now get to join our incredible Reiki tribe, worldwide. Witnessing new friendships blossom, confidence rising and a common love of one another creating the space for miracles and insights in our own lives and in others.

I definitely didn’t do it alone. It wouldn’t have even been possible without your encouragement, your willingness to learn in a new way, and your open-hearted sharing and support of each other as you embarked upon welcoming Reiki into your hearts and started to share that light with those you love.

Thank you so much for believing in me and it is my promise to you to keep moving forward, with love in my heart and a great big smile on my face.

Thank you, my amazing Intuitive Reiki Masters, Students, and clients, who trusted me, came on this new and crazy adventure with me. Thank you for allowing me to make many mistakes and then changes due to the lessons learned. You were so open and supportive, and I love and appreciate you.

Gerald, best husband ever! You have always supported me and my business – I adore you.

My two gorgeous girls, who inspire me to be the best I can be and teach them through the example I live daily, that dreams do come true, they just need a little vision, action and some hard work to achieve!

Practice

It’s okay to make mistakes – it’s just a ‘mis-take’ and we get to try again, re-shoot the ‘scene’ and doing again differently again. Thanks to my friend Keryn Rose for her pearls of wisdom.

Belief

At the soul level there is only love.

Action

My own self-care is a non-negotiable. I gave myself Reiki each day and I received Reiki, massages, facials, reflexology, and called my friends for support when it was needed.

The occasional glass of wine and nightcap scotch with my hubby warmed my heart and brought me peace too.

A well-deserved Christmas Break

I’m heading on a family holiday where I shall be basking by the beach with nothing on my agenda but laughing and spending time with my incredible husband and daughters.

We will close on 18th December and reopen on 11th January 2021.
