I find myself awake at 3am in the morning, not able to sleep, so I get out of bed and savor the quiet of the early morning. The only sound I hear right now is the sound of the fridge quietly rumbling and the sign of life outside as a car slowly drives by, nice to know that others are awake at this time, a simple reminder of how I am not alone. The car drives past once more as if in confirmation of my thought.
I sit here contemplating how to put my busy mind at ease, to find calm once more. I have joyfully filled my life with so much right now that I am feeling a little overwhelmed.
So I go within gently calling in another aspect of me. I feel everything soften and a feeling of love starts to softly and gently fill me with peace, it’s a familiar feeling I’ve known all my life, a divine presence of love that guides and supports me. I have given this guiding love a name, Anya, and by calling her name, I reach a deeper and higher aspect of myself, for I am her and she is me.
A special gift is given with love
I look to my bookshelf and I am drawn to re-discover the most beautiful book, which was a gift from a friend. One I haven’t opened for years.
The book is a beautiful journal, which was filled with inspiration and dreams when it was first gifted to me a few years ago.
The journal is titled, I am her.
And this is the opening poem:
Who is she?
She is a daughter. She is a best friend.
She is a pocketful of light. She is a spark of
Something good, getting brighter; a dream grown large;
the right thing at the right time.
She is a dancer, a singer, a thinker, a
Truth-teller. A connoisseur of all the things this
The wide world has to offer. Her spirit is the
The first thing people notice. Her mind always had
A mind of its own. Her heart, though it has
Sometimes been hurt, bears a strong resemblance
To a daffodil: it always flowers again.
So she wakes with anticipation. She
Finds new hills to climb. And everyone agrees
That the very fact of her in the world means
There is still so much good to come.
Who is she? She is me. She is you.

Then I find this:
Turn your light on, shine the fact of it out into the world. Watch what happens next….
And so I will and here I am :)
Feeling better now…
Loving all of my life, with its fullness and joy – and that includes YOU!!!
With Love
