Reiki was the first step for me in realising I had access to divine wisdom. I remember when my Reiki Master was working with me she said to me that I would be doing spiritual healing (which at the time I knew nothing about!) I was very interested in learning more about all things spiritual and so my journey began. This was back in 2001 and Reiki was a wonderful way for me to learn how to meditate I practiced Reiki daily. I also attended weekly meditation classes and started to see my Reiki Guides clairvoyantly. I started to call upon my guides regularly and explored the world of Spiritual Development.
I soon realised that when I was doing Reiki I was able to easily focus my thoughts and tap into my intuition very easily. Reiki was the beginning of a new passion. I felt drawn to healing and away from acting which for me at that point, was all I had ever wanted to do.
It was the beginning of a new life for me, a calling to do spiritual work. At the time I was working for Starlight Children’s Foundation as Captain Starlight. As time went by, I found my role began to naturally change and I found myself able to intuitively assist my parents when they were experiencing difficulty or even loss. And so my transition from being an actor/entertainer to a healer began.
In my spare time, I became so excited by Reiki and the results that I was seeing was very encouraging. I decided that it was time to leave Starlight after 5 years and reduce my hours to part-time so that I could more easily focus on my healing and my psychic development.
That year saw me see my Reiki Master every month for more training and development than practice, practice, practice on my own self-healing and development. Then after 2 years I had met and found the love of my life Gerald, 9 months later we were engaged, married a year later, and became pregnant with our first child Georgia shortly after our honeymoon. Life was looking really great for me and I was so very happy.
Reiki was the key to discovering myself and the hidden treasure chest of gifts within me. I felt so blessed to have a teacher who was guiding me and supporting me and at the same time challenging me in a way I couldn’t have even imagined. Fast forward to now! I am always discovering the teacher within and love conducting Reiki Workshops at Yes 2 Life every month. I have established my Reiki Practice and blended my healing work with the teaching. I enjoy being a part of a small circle of mediums where we are fine-tuning our gifts.
